MCAT06 is an active termination resistor for PROFIBUS DP and RS-485 networks. With MCAT06, PROFIBUS and other RS-485 2-wire networks can be disconnected directly at the end of the bus. This ensures secure communication even if the bus devices are connected/disconnected during operation.
MCAT06 PROFIBUS DP Active Termination Resistor:
1. Suitable for PROFIBUS DP and other physical layer RS-485 networks
2. Connect the bus using pluggable double-layer spring terminals or Sub-D connectors
