Profound and Detailed
Historical Footprint of Fieldbus Technology Development
2022-09-21
Fieldbus is developed internationally in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The field intelligent equipment interconnection communication network CONTROL ENGINEERING China, which is used in process automation, manufacturing automation, building automation and other fields, has all rights reserved. It has attracted worldwide attention and has become a hotspot in the development of automation technology, and will lead to profound changes in automation system structure and equipment. Many powerful and influential companies in the world have successively developed fieldbus technology and products to varying degrees.
Foundation Fieldbus (FF for short)
This is the combination of the ISP agreement developed by 80 companies, including Yokogawa, ABB, Siemens and Invensys, led by Fisher Rousemount of the United States, and the WorldFIP agreement developed by more than 150 companies in Europe, led by Honeywell, in September 1994. The bus has been widely used in the field of process automation, and has a good development prospect.
CAN (Controller Area Network)
It was first introduced by German BOSCH Company, and is used for data communication between internal measurement and execution components of automobiles. Its bus specification has been formulated as an international standard by ISO International Standards Organization, supported by Intel, Philips, Siemens, NEC and other companies, and has been widely used in the field of discrete control. Several companies have developed and produced communication chips conforming to CAN protocol.
DeviceNet
DeviceNet is a low-cost communication connection and a simple network solution, with open network standards. The organizational structure of DeviceNet bus is Open DeviceNet Vendor Association ("ODVA" for short).
PROFIBUS
PROFIBUS is the field bus standard of German standard (DIN19245) and European standard (EN50170). It is composed of PROFIBUS - DP, PROFIBUS - FMS and PROFIBUS - PA series. DP is used for high-speed data transmission between decentralized peripherals and is applicable to the field of processing automation. FMS is applicable to textile, building automation, programmable controller, low-voltage switch, etc. The bus type of PA used for process automation shall comply with IEC1158-2 standard.
HART
HART is the abbreviation of Highway Addressable Remote Transmitter. It was first developed by Roseout Company and supported by more than 80 famous instrument companies. The HART Communication Foundation was established in 1993. HART is a transitional product of industrial process control in the transition from analog system to digital system, so it has strong market competitiveness in the current transition period.
CC-Link
CC Link is the abbreviation of Control&Communication Link (Control&Communication Link System). In November 1996, it was launched by several companies led by Mitsubishi Electric, with a rapid growth momentum and a large share in Asia. In July 2005, CC Link was approved by the National Standards Committee of China as the guiding technical document of Chinese national standards.
WorldFIP
After the North American part of WorkdFIP and ISP are merged into FF, www.cechina Cn, The European part of WorldFIP remains independent and headquartered in France. It occupies an important position in the European market, especially in France, with a share of about 60%.
INTERBUS
INTERBUS is an earlier field bus launched by Phoenix Contact and became the international standard IEC61158 in February 2000.
INTERBUS is widely used in automobile, tobacco, warehousing, paper making, packaging, food and other industrial control engineering networks, and has become the leader of international field bus.
In addition, P-Net proposed by Process Data A/S, a Danish company, is a more influential field bus, which is mainly used in agriculture, forestry, water conservancy, food and other industries; SwiftNet fieldbus is mainly used in aerospace and other fields.
