MCAFD series active fieldbus distributors are suitable for FF-H1 and PROFIBUS PA fieldbus applications. Field devices are connected to the system through the distributor in a trunk branch topology. Each MCAFD4/8/12 distributor has 4/8/12 branches, with built-in automatic bus terminals. LED status indication can quickly diagnose the short circuit status of main lines and branch lines, automatically isolate fault sections, and the distributor has multiple protection functions to ensure safe operation of the system.

The fieldbus junction box is used to connect FF H1 and PROFIBUS PA devices to fiedlbus and has the function of terminal matching. When there is no connection at the end of the bus main line and branch line, it can be used as a terminal matcher.

MCAFD4/8 Active Fieldbus Distributor (Junction Box):

1. Bus power supply, suitable for fieldbus conforming to IEC61158-2 standard

2. LED indicators for bus status

3. Short circuit protection and breakdown equipment isolation

4. No effect of other normal working fieldbus devices when installing or uninstalling

5. Low installation cost, simple electric maintenance, waterproof and dust proof of housing joint

6. No polarity of fieldbus input. Not necessary to consider polarity of fieldbus devices

7. Each MCAFD4/8 can connect max 4/8 devices
